Description of spherical head: its shape is like spherical, so it is called spherical head. The processing methods of spherical head are high-precision CNC lathe turning, ordinary lathe precision turning, argon arc welding and other processing.
Precautions for spherical head application:
1. The carbon steel head may crack in nitrate, ammonia, alkaline sodium and other environments. Please explain how to eliminate the residual stress when ordering the head.
2. Austenitic stainless steel will have stress corrosion cracking in a specific environment with chloride ions. Please select appropriate materials during design.
3. For carbon steel vessels requiring hot galvanizing or aluminizing, please conduct heat treatment first to remove residual stress.
